Envision a world where we all have access to growing nutrient rich food from the comfort of our own home. Who would benefit from this the most? What opportunity would this bring to impoverished rural areas?
Pacha Mama aqua farm is an urban farm located in northern New Jersey. We work with aquaponics to grow your favorite micro-greens. The aquaponic technique uses a closed loop, self sustainable system, transferring and converting fish waste into superfood for the plants. This is a zero-chemical way to grow plants and maintain our fish’ health, just like our ancestor did 1500 years ago in the America’s. Our goal is to combine traditional and modern techniques to create a symbiotic way of growing food. Furthermore, we see the opportunity to bring this technology to all impoverish areas of the Americas, connecting rural farm and urban city area with healthier options.
